Clement Windows Group is delighted to announce that its product range is now available to view on NBS Source.
Clement has had a profile on NBS Source (and formerly on RIBA Product Selector) for several years, but this has only recently been upgraded to include enhanced product data.
Product information including specification data is available for the company’s selection of steel windows and doors, steel screens and partitions and conservation rooflights. This includes the popular and versatile EB20 and EB24 steel window ranges, which are exceptionally slim, high specification metal windows for both residential and commercial projects. EB20 and EB24 windows are designed to replicate the appearance of existing or original windows and are manufactured bespoke to specific requirements.
Also included are Clement’s trailblazing range of interior steel screens and doors, which have been popular for so many years now, and the Clement Conservation Rooflight, which is available in eight standard sizes, from stock, for either a slate or a tile roof profile and which has achieved a British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) Window Energy Rating of A+.

The article, written by Clement, looks at the refurbishment of old industrial buildings where replacement double glazed steel windows have been manufactured to match the original fenestration. The new industrial style frames complement the character of the building while introducing modern benefits such as better insulation, weatherproofing and security.

Internal steel doors and screens manufactured by Clement Windows Group were pictured in the August 2022 issue of Grand Designs Magazine.
The steel frames were installed at the new home of Lee Thornley, founder of the handmade tile specialist Bert & May.
The kitchen and living area at the property was designed to make the most of natural light and the three steel door screens used to partition the space maximise the light available and are a great alternative to solid walls.

With the recent energy price rises and a second hike expected to take effect this autumn, it’s no wonder individuals across the UK are looking for ways to increase the energy efficiency of their homes and avoid incurring increased costs.
Windows and doors can be among the most common causes of poor temperature control within a home, especially if they’re not double glazed.
The benefits of double glazed windows go beyond money saving, improving the comfort of your home through temperature control noise-proofing. But what actually makes double glazing so effective?

Finding the perfect blinds for your new Clement Conservation Rooflights shouldn’t be an afterthought. While rooflights are often installed to increase the amount of light in a space, during the night or periods of hot weather it is important to be able to restrict the amount of light entering your home too.

‘The best on the market’ from Tom Robbins – Google reviews – 5 stars
“Clement supplied the steel windows with leaded lights set into oak subframes for an Arts and Craft house we worked on in Weetwood, Leeds. We built an orangery there, as well as the garage and kitchen conversion. Clement replaced the windows throughout the existing house as well as supplied the new fanlights for the orangery.
We also specify Clement’s conservation rooflights whenever we can. We are very much of the opinion that they are the best on the market.”

At Clement, we pride ourselves on the manufacture of high-quality steel windows and steel doors, made to your bespoke requirements in our very own ISO 9001 approved factory.
While all of our ranges are developed to meet the ever-changing demands of clients and the wider industry, there are a few ranges that are particularly popular, boasting the elegant good looks, incredible versatility and modern performance requirements you can expect from Clement.
EB24 is our most popular and versatile steel window product for both commercial and residential work. Benefitting from exceptionally slim frames, our high specification EB24 steel window range is superior to your original metal windows. It offers better thermal performance, security (PAS 24 is an option) and it is also very easy to maintain. Clement specialise in manufacturing new steel windows and doors to match your originals, but with a far improved specification.
Although the EB24 range is our most sought after product for replacement work it can also be suitable for new build projects, as it achieves up to a B energy rating.

Over the course of 2021, we have had the pleasure of working on a number of commercial projects which now feature our range of high quality, bespoke steel windows, steel-framed doors and screens and conservation rooflights.
We have taken a look back at some of our favourite projects from the year and picked out a few highlights.
Possibly one of the most distinct examples of ‘Stripped Classicism’ architecture in the UK is Waltham Forest Town Hall. The office building was designed by architect Philip Hepworth and constructed between 1938 and 1942. In 2019, the council approved an extensive programme of renovations, including the replacement of all the original steel windows. Working with the client to select the right high-quality product for the project, a suite of Clement W20 white metal windows with dark bronze fittings were installed seamlessly, despite being in the midst of a pandemic.
