Clement Windows
Newsletter: February 2021
Welcome to our February 2021 newsletter!
It is an honour that so many clients come back to Clement Windows time and time again. This newsletter features two recent examples of local residential projects in Surrey where clients have done just that. You can read the full case studies, including informative and positive testimonials, by clicking on the links at the bottom of this newsletter.
This year we will be presenting our popular RIBA approved CPD 'Steel Windows – A New Generation' at a number of virtual RIBA CPD Provider Hour events. These are a really great way of gaining your CPD hours and so convenient too, given that now you don't even need to leave your home! Don't forget we also offer this CPD digitally to individual architects, a whole office, or even multiple offices over the lunch hour using Microsoft Teams. If you would like any more information, please visit this page of our website.
How wonderful it is to see that so many of you have been tagging us in your social media posts recently, especially Instagram, where lots of fabulous projects are being shared. Thank you and please keep them coming! If you don't follow us already please do so here. It is a great way of sharing success stories and providing inspiration.
Last year we had the pleasure of working with Charters Property Ltd, based in Shrewsbury, specialists in property development, consultancy and project management. Charters had recently purchased a deconsecrated church and were transforming the building into a prestigious development of four new homes. Clement Windows supplied both the new steel windows required and a number of conservation rooflights. You can find a link to the rooflights case study below and if you follow this link you can find out more information about the steel windows installed.
When the weather has improved slightly we look forward to photographing and sharing some of our recent commercial projects with you, including our work at 6 Middle Street, Central London. Based in a Conservation Area, we have manufactured and installed a mixture of our stunning curved head steel windows and screens at this building. We have also produced many genuine leaded light steel windows to match the originals at Ladywell Convent, a beautiful Grade II Listed Building just outside Godalming in Surrey.
We hope that you will continue to be informed and inspired, but most of all please stay safe and keep well.

Thermally Efficient EB20 Steel Windows For Family Home
Surprisingly, this is the front elevation of the same family home that is featured in the photo above. Due to the two elevations being so different in style, two variations of the EB20 range were required. We manufactured and installed rectangular leaded lights at the front and clear glazing for the back of the house. EB20 can achieve a 'B' Window Energy Rating (WER).
A Mix Of Both Modern & Traditional Steel Windows
Clement have returned to this property in Surrey to install windows quite a few times over the years. The latest phase was to glaze the new extension, designed by Architect Perry Barnes. EB24 steel windows were selected for the whole house. Diagonal leaded lights were chosen for the front and rear elevations, and G+ bars for the extension.
Clement Rooflights & Windows Chosen For Church Conversion
This is The Tracery in Shropshire, a former church which was recently sensitively restored and developed into four luxury homes. Both Clement Conservation Rooflights and steel windows, in a variety of ranges, were chosen for this project. The end result is stunning and the Developers – Charters Property – are really pleased with the outcome.
